About us
We’re obsessed with helping companies transform their users into product experts and evangelists
Our mission
At Skilljar, we believe that education is the key to unlocking technology’s benefits for individuals, organizations, and society. Our journey started when our co-founders, Sandi and Jason, saw that companies were developing software and technology with great potential, but users were struggling to put these innovations to work. Product education was the missing link and legacy tools were frustrating Customer Education teams in their efforts to engage and educate users. These legacy LMS tools were dated, hard to navigate, and siloed from other business systems. So we got to work.
We’ve built Skilljar to be the best customer education platform in the world. Companies such as Tableau, Verizon, Zenefits, and hundreds more use Skilljar to accelerate product adoption and increase customer retention. But, we’re just getting started.
We’re obsessed with helping companies around the world transform their customers into product experts and evangelists. We are cartographers who help customer education teams map the path to product adoption and advocates who understand that education is an ongoing process that drives customer retention and growth. Come join us in defining the future of Customer Education!
Our values
We start with what adds value for our customers and work backwards. We are focused on making them successful and are willing to go above and beyond to do so.
We are always learning and raising the bar on what we do and how we do it. We share high standards, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for continuous improvement.
We foster a mindset of entrepreneurship, embracing responsibilities as if we owned the business. As a scaling company, we value accountability, strategic thinking, and tactical attention to detail.
We proactively prioritize and deliver results on the most important things. When circumstances change, we adapt quickly, focus on what matters, and demonstrate resourcefulness.
We believe that respectful and transparent communication builds trust and accountability. We make decisions by actively participating in exchanges of ideas, gathering information from multiple sources, and reasoning through options. Once a decision is made, we move forward together.
We’re all in this together, working toward the same mission. We each contribute with unique strengths, and collaborate in a way that builds trust. We work hard, connect as people first, and celebrate each other’s achievements.
